Actors/Characters that...well, read the explantion.

I'm not really sure how to explain this list, so I'm just going to give you the entire explanation: I'm a very superficial person, and I freely admit that I will watch TV shows purely for the pretty of the male co-stars. Except, I've come to find that even though I'll start watching because of one star, I end up favouring another actor. This is that list.

The following is picture-heavy.

I'm grouping them by fandom, so Stargate Atlantis goes first. As it usually does, for me.

I started watching SGA for John Sheppard, AKA Joe Flanigan, because, really, have you seen Joe Flanigan? I mean, seriously, I will start giggling for no reason except that Joe Flanigan has graced my screen with his presence. So when I started seeing icons and banners with that gorgeous face, I wanted to start watching Stargate Atlantis.

However, my favourite character is Rodney McKay, played by David Hewlett. SO PRETTY.


Also, how can I not mention Ronon Dex/Jason Momoa? The DEFINITION of sex.


And by all means, I am not saying Joe Flanigan is outshined, because he's still a heartthrob ♥ Here's one more of him, just because.

Next up is Stargate SG-1. Daniel Jackson, AKA Michael Shanks, remains my one of my favourite characters, and GOSH, he's pretty.


However, over the years, these two climbed up the ranks and became my other two SG1 crushes. Jonas Quinn, aka Mr. Corin Nemec. He's, like, boyishly adorable.


And of course, Teal'c, aka Christopher Judge. He's got the most amazing smile, and he alone is to blame for my obsession with arms and biceps.


Well, I guess not him alone, since I find Michael Shank's arms extremely fascinating as well:

Next up is Torchwood. I started watching Torchwood because of the extreme prettiness that is John Barrowman, who plays Captain Jack Harkness. I mean look at him, I would watch this man just walk around the mall:


However, the position of favorite character was stolen by Ianto Jones, or Gareth David-Lloyd:


But still, this picture of John Barrowman gets me every time. It does things to me that I didn't know could be done to a person:

Next up is Supernatural. Of course, I started watching for the gorgeous brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles:



And while they remain the prettiest things on the show I find that these two guest stars steal some of the attention away as well. Jeffrey Dean Morgan as John Winchester - I always find myself wishing for a JDM cameo, because it's always nice to see that scruffy face :)


I'm also falling hard for Misha Collins, who plays the angel Castiel:


But I must say, these handsome brothers are the main reason I watch the show, because frankly, I strongly dislike scary movies. But the pretty gets me coming back. Plus, with DVDs, I can pause when it gets too scary! Hahaha.

And the last (but not the least) fandom is Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I must admit that the pretty Thomas Dekker, who I liked in Heroes, was a reason for me to start watching the show:


However, John's biological uncle, Derek Reese, played by Brian Austin Green, is certainly a plus when he's also on the screen:


I guess genes run in the family? Because John Connor is very pretty:

Now, of course, I'm not saying that I don't love their personalities, because those are the things that keep me watching (c'mon, I'm not *that* superficial).

John Sheppard is delightfully adorable, being a complete dork but a hardcore military commander at the same time. Rodney McKay is a vulnerable genius whose enormous ego is only overshadowed by my love for him. Ronon Dex is a lost warrior who lost his family, and now has a new alien one.

Daniel Jackson is a nerdy archeologist who's taken for granted, but definitely shouldn't be, since he has the mind of genius, with an serving of wit, and two sides of morality and slight military training. Jonas Quinn can remember more stuff than you can ever forget, and is first a scientist and second an adventurer. Teal'c may look scary (to most, I guess?) but inside he has the heart of a lion: fierce, passionate and caring.

Jack Harkness has a big heart, but has to keep it in check because he's not only a boss, but since he can live forever, he can't stand to get too close because he's just going to lose them eventually anyway. Ianto Jones works hard for love, toward either his lover or his friends.

Sam Winchester is part demon, but fights along side his brother, Dean Winchester, who was raised from hell by an angel of the Lord. They try to do the right thing by going down different paths, while still trying to stay on the "right" one. John Winchester killed monsters in search for the one that killed his beloved Mary, while also trying to be a good father to his two boys. Castiel struggles with his faith, his Father, and trying to do good in the war before him.

John Connor is trying to have a normal life, while simultaneously trying to prepare for and prevent a war against machines the likes of which the world has never seen, with his extremely protective mother, and a machine that could go wrong and kill him. Derek Reese is trying to prepare for and prevent the same war, but for him, the world of the past is a sweet paradise that he can live one more time, before all goes to hell.

They're all amazing on the inside and the outside. Oh boys! ♥
