It's not much, but it's my two cents.
I really liked this episode. It was good.
What I liked
Even though I knew, from the very beginning, that Owen was there to talk her down and not jump, I had my doubts a couple of times, and that's what I really liked.
I liked Ianto and Owen's chat about "winning" and getting to be in the field. I liked Ianto's subtle "you'll get better, this won't be the end for you" speech, even though the bit about him and Jack was awkward.
I loved Martha in this, again. I can't explain why, but she's just awesome. And the kiss at the end, justified by "everyone else got to!" Priceless!
Although, Maggie's story was really, really heartbreaking, and the image of her walking down the highway with blood on her wedding dress, though kind of used a lot, was really powerful.
And come on, after Owen's attempted drowning, Jack comes up and goes "Skinny guy in tight jeans runs into water? I was taking pictures." It was the PERFECT comment. Oh God, John Barrowman, I really love you, you know that?
And I liked that explanation of what the Pulse really was. I thought it was an egg.
What I Didn't Like
I didn't like that Jack suggested Owen should be come the coffee boy, because to me, Ianto will always be my coffee king.
Oh and hey, who died and made Gwen Queen of Torchwood? Why's she pushing everyone around? Wasn't Jack the leader, last time I checked?
And when Tosh came by to Owen's and just kept talking until Owen snapped at her? I don't think Tosh would be that oblivious.
I didn't like how Martha was like "You're fragile," and then they make him take out a generator? With his hands? Don't they know that'll fry him? Isn't that a little worse than bruising?
Oh, but that was really messed up of them to call that guy and make him think his wife was in an accident. Really, really messed up.
I also have a problem with Owen not having breath or air. Don't they know how talking works? He's not a teddy bear with a recorded message and speakers; air has to move through the voice box for sound to come out.
The end. Bye Martha! Come back soon, please!
What This Blog Is
So I intentionally started this blog in order to (maybe) move here if my friends on Livejournal decided to leave. Thankfully, no one I knew left, so then I didn't know what to do with this.
A couple of months later, I made a journal at GreatestJournal to store useless lists like "Who's my favourite character?" and "What are my favourite pairings?" Then GJ died in 2008, so I moved it to InsaneJournal.
Then, I remembered I had this blog, and so I decided to start using it like my IJ, except with more indepth thoughts and explanations. The side bar holds many random things, such as the RSS feed to my Google Reader and my precious list of males I frequently fangirl over.

Reading this page will probably help you understand me better; it's like a disclaimer. Honestly, that is me in a nutshell.
