Review: My Fandoms This Season

Now that the season is over, and the only show I'm looking forward to is Doctor Who on Saturdays (and Stargate: Atlantis in July), I've decided to give my review of this season for the shows I've watched. I've given up shows, picked up shows and had shows (unjustifiably!) cancelled on me, so I thought I'd give my two cents.

I'm going in alphabetical order, and you must be warned that there be spoilers after the jump.

Bionic Woman (2007)
Official Status: Cancelled
Carmen!Status: Obviously, I stopped watching.
Opinions: I don't know; I found the sister to be very annoying and the main character kind of annoying (but not really? It's hard to explain) so I kind of gave up on it anyway.

Bones
Official Status: Renewed
Carmen!Status: Still on board!
Opinions: What a season! There was a baby, a funeral, a death, and a twist I somewhat expected! Jade, a dear friend of mine, was completely blown off track (to the point of giving up Bones for good) but I am still fully operational and would totally like to see where the next season goes.

Cashmere Mafia
Official Status: Cancelled
Carmen!Status: Gipped!
Opinions: I loved this show, and mostly it was for Lucy Liu, but HELLO, questioning lesbian and husband troubles and her kid and I wanted more :( I am also very angry that they're killing this but keeping Lipstick Jungle. What the hell?!

Chuck
Official Status: Renewed
Carmen!Status: Still watching.
Opinions: I LOVE THIS SHOW TO BITS. There isn't really anything for me to express fangirl-wise because it's just the show and how wonderful that is.

Cold Case
Official Status: Renewed
Carmen!Status: Still watching!
Opinions: Again, there isn't anything fangirl-y to report, other than I love this show, and it's totally worth my Sunday nights.

Criminal Minds
Official Status: It better be renewed! (It is.)
Carmen!Status: Waiting impatiently for the next season!
Opinions: WHAT TWISTS. I never expected anything from the last episode to happen, and holy crap, I just really hope it's not JJ or her boyfriend. But then again, I really hope it's not even one of their cars.

CSI
Official Status: Renewed for it's speculated last season.
Carmen!Status: Tentatively on board.
Opinions: Wow. That finale was something else. I really hated the character bashing of Warrick, since hi, he was my favourite character, but other than that, this season was nothing short of spectacular.

CSI: Miami
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Ditched the boat and am swimming to shore.
Opinions: I was so optimistic this season, what with Speed coming back for an episode, but then Kyle happened, and Horatio went ballistic, and then Alexx just plain left, that I threw up my hands and decided enough was enough. I watched Alexx's goodbye (which I totally teared up during) and took the show off the to watch list.

CSI: NY
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Awaiting the next season!
Opinions: I was really disappointed in Danny this season, after being so hopeful from last season's finale, but the Taxi Cab killer was interesting enough, and the cases, though a little out there, were fun and interesting. I wasn't too fond of the assassin dying like she did (as I stated) but other than that, NY has brought, and hopefully will continue to bring, me much fun watching it.

Dexter
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Still interested.
Opinions: I was a bit...iffy when CBS decided to air Dexter on Primetime, because you know, it's on Showtime for a reason (gorey, bloody reasons) but that doesn't really affect me, so on with it! I was really shocked this season, and very scared for Dex, but it all worked out and I can't wait what to see what the plot is for next season.

ER
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Tentatively interested.
Opinions: I barely watch ER because I want to, but it keeps sounding more and more interesting, and this season was really about seeing if Abby and Kovac were going to be okay. Now, of course, I want to see who was in that ambulance, and if Abby was okay, because she just walked past it.

Futurama
Official Status: Sort of renewed!
Carmen!Status: Waiting for the next three movies!
Opinions: I loved the first movie, and am totally stoked to hear that there are three more coming out. I can't wait!

Heroes
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Though her faith has been less enthusiastic, this girl is definitely still waiting for Volume Three.
Opinions: This season was full of fail, EXCEPT for the introduction of Kensei/Adam Monroe. I know it was mainly due to the strike, but I need my Heroes fix soon or else my Happy Hiro Senses will fail. Also, they can't just keep us in the dark about Sylar!

House, MD
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Very much still on board.
Opinions: I need to know how House and Wilson are going to patch up their relationship, and how Wilson is coping! Also, when and if the original cast are coming back as House's underlings.

Law & Order
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Stopped watching.
Opinions: Though it got good in the beginning and stayed good in the middle there, I just wasn't that into it, and when Jesse Martin left I took my leave too.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent
Official Status: I have no idea.
Carmen!Status: WANTS. MORE. GOREN.
Opinions: I want this show back, please! It's my favorite L&O and the only one I watch anymore!

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Stopped watching.
Opinions: I don't even know; I stopped watching after the strike started. It just got really repetitive.

Life
Official Status: Renewed!
Carmen!Status: Waiting for the next season!
Opinions: I want to know what happens to Charlie! He's such an interesting character, and he gives such a unique view on everything! I can't wait.

Medium
Official Status: Renewed!
Carmen!Status: Waiting patiently for the next season!
Opinions: I'm so glad things ended happy this season. I still have to go back and watch the season I missed, but for now, I'm glad to see Joe and Allison okay for once!

Monk
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Waiting for July!
Opinions: Always a good show to watch and enjoy and laugh at.

My Name Is Earl
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Still watching!
Opinions: I'm glad everything ended on good terms on MNiE. It gave me a queasy feeling every time I thought he was going to give up the list, but I'm glad things turned out the way they did. I can't wait to see what happens next season, and what trouble they'll get into.

Mythbusters
Official Status: Probably renewed, (but don't take my word for it!).
Carmen!Status: CAN'T WAIT.
Opinions: I loved the Alaska Special and would like more time with my Mythbusting friends :)

NCIS
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Slightly freaking out, but still on board.
Opinions: I need to know what's happening and how Team Gibbs is changing and where all my people are going :(

New Amsterdam
Official Status: Cancelled :(
Carmen!Status: Saddened an awesome show was cancelled.
Opinions: It was sad to see this go, but now I can write that AU fic on John and how he finds his love where he never expected it.

Numb3rs
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Wants the next season ASAP!
Opinions: Charlie! Don! And just when things were looking up, they fight again! What the hell?! And Charlie can't work with Don and I'm just SLIGHTLY freaking out over here.

The Office (US)
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: NEEDS THE NEXT SEASON NOW.
Opinions: WEDDINGS, SEX AND PROPOSALS! I COULD BARELY THINK STRAIGHT AND I WANT MORE NOW.

Psych
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Can't wait for July!
Opinions: Again, always a fun show to check out and enjoy and love all over. I can't wait for July!

Pushing Daisies
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Waiting patiently.
Opinions: I'm glad this pulled through the strike and ended up surviving. I can't wait to see the cases the solve and the trouble Ned gets into.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Waiting, waiting, waiting.
Opinions: I'm also extremely glad this pulled through. I can't wait to see what happens!

Stargate Atlantis
Official Status: Renewed!
Carmen!Status: Waiting impatiently for July to come on already.
Opinions: Still my favourite show. It won't ever stop being my favourite show.

Stargate SG-1
Official Status: Making the next movie.
Carmen!Status: Awaiting the next movie.
Opinions: Still in the process of finishing the 10 seasons to watch Ark of Truth, but I'm confident I'll finish by July 11th, so YAY! NEXT MOVIE!

Supernatural
Official Status: Renewed!
Carmen!Status: WAITING.
Opinions: I started and finished this in a matter of two weeks. I can't wait for the next season to begin. What an exciting show! I never thought I'd love it as much as I do now.

Torchwood
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Waiting impatiently to see wtf is going on.
Opinions: After last season's finale, I am completely blown away at the loss of two of my favourite people. I want them back, dammit!

Without a Trace
Official Status: Renewed.
Carmen!Status: Waiting.
Opinions: This season was crazy!nuts; it was interesting and even had a little James Marsters, which is always a plus, so yes, I can't wait for next season.
